I was hesitant to join Blue Canvas because it's one thing to show my work and be appreciated by non artists, but to expose myself to other artists, especially those who are accomplished or successful, well that's a bit intimidating. Thanks for adding me. I greatly enjoy your accentuation of the repeated form in nature. Will you tell me, is there metaphoric content in your bird images other than a symbol of physical beauty? (as in "Anna" where the bird image joins the face as part of the hair)

Thank you for your time and comment, in " Anna " the bird is part of the hair and also is a symbol for other things also it is part of the head , it's presence and location and it's beak and the similar repetition of part of the beak as in the hair all have something to say for the character and mood and condition of " Anna" , there is another bird or part of a bird making the left side eye of " Anna", yes metaphoric also symbolic use of the bird here and in some other works .
