	williamrose Replied: February 12, 2010 Thanks - I work from life and from photographs - sometimes a combination of both. I typically will shoot hundreds of digital images of a model to find the right look and light and often use mulltiple images as refernece for a drawing or painting.

Normally, I kinda go for color, but your charcoals are so rich they FEEL like they're in color. Really amazing work here!
