Born in Saragossa in March 1980, she showed great interest in drawing and painting since she was a small child. This led her to a career in Fine Arts. She was part of a lot of fanzines and ecology magazines while she was studying at the Escuela de Artes de Zaragoza (Saragossa Art School), and participated in quite a few collective expositions. In the later years of her studies she briefly worked at Luis Royo's Ollustration Study.
Years later she moved to Barcelona to study Illustration and Airbrushing at the Escuela Joso (Joso School).
She has been strongly influenced by the fantasy literature of authors like J. R. R. Tolkien or Tad Williams and by movies like "Dark Crystal" or "Labyrinth". Her work is thus filled with faeries, goblins, dragons and foreboding forests, with a particular attention to small details. Her favorite techniques are graphite and watercolors, but the vast majority of her works are done in gouache and acrylics.
Her works have been published both in Spain and in the USA in role-palying games, CCGs, magazines and book covers. She has also self-published two postcard collections and several posters.
The year 2010 saw the debut of her first art book, "Cinnabaris", published by Norma Editorial. The book features dragons prominently, taking us into an immersive trip through a world of fantasy and wonder.
thank you, my new friend!
