I am a self taught photographer & printmaker who constantly seeks that image that moves me. My work is centered around the experience of my surroundings. Each of my photographs and prints is a graphic presentation of my vision. I am captivated by the beautiful images that can be extracted from everyday experiences. When I press the shutter, it is to express appreciation and sharing of something I have seen or felt in that moment in time. My inspiration is found in the photographs of Edward Weston, one of my favorite Quotes “Consulting the rules of composition before taking a photograph, is like consulting the laws of gravity before going for a walk.” Edward Weston. In the absence of logic we are free to imagine and experience life.
