Secret Admirer

The evening grows colder now, as the last light from the setting sun fades from sight. She looks at the water as the fog starts to form its thick blanket she sighs, it was clear to her now that he wasn't going to show. She starts to walk away when a hand touches her sholder her heart thumps, it was him the one she has been waiting for the identity of her secret admirer would finally be revealed. What once was

The evening sunlight shines through the leaves of the trees casting a golden glow over all it touches. The woods are calm now, with just the faintest sound of birds. Ivy climbs up the wall of an old crumbling house, a young woman stands in a violet gown staring up at the house she once knew, her long raven hair flowing in the gentle breeze, her grey eyes start to tear as she slowly turns and walks away.
