When I was 13 years old I started drawing people. There was something about capturing the likeness of someone that really excited me. I from that point really saw no reason to draw anything else. Equipped with nothing but a pencil and a sketch pad, I went through pages and pages of teen magazines drawing my favorite people from the photos. Ten years ago, I found myself at one of the lowest points in my life. Unfortunately those that know me well, know there were many low points leading up to this particular one. I find peace in knowing that most of my struggles were accumulated when I was young, and I was given the opportunity to grow and strengthen within them so that I can be the person I am today.
