Well, I'm off to Zante and Rome over the next couple of weeks so won't be on bluecanvas, but will (hopefully) have a mass of new photos for you all to enjoy! Hoping to get a lot of culture out of Rome and quite honestly Zante is a girls holiday, but hopefully I'll get some awesome photos out of it too :) See you soon bluecanvas-ers!

When I first joined this site and others like it my aim was to make a bit of extra money without losing any in the process, and I got to do something I love - take photos! This money was to go towards an around the world trip when I've graduated from university, and when I say around the world, I mean around the world!! I'm talking Africa, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, America, South America etc etc....so as you can imagine I need a hell of a lot of money if this is to go forth. So, today I tho...

I'm starting a new series - I have my Tanzania series which will be continuing constantly as I edit more photos, but I have begun a new collection. This is called 'I am me. - Who are you?' I want people to think, I want them to understand who they are; the good and the bad. This series is about knowing yourself and not being afraid to let the world know as well. Blue friday lounge!!!

What upppp. So today I was casually writing an essay when I got an email telling me that my photo had been added to the blue friday lounge! How exciting?! I was pretty buzzed (as you can tell). Hopefully this is the start of lots of good things :) I added some new photos today, stuff I've not really done before with a bit of typography mixed in and also a good old safari photo, so if you can spare a minute to check those out then that would be lovely! Typography!

So, I've created a couple of typography images using quotes from Audrey Hepburn. I'm quite proud of them, but it's the first time I've done anything like this so we'll see how it goes down! I find some of her quotes really inspiring so I thought, why not try and share these with the world? (well the bluecanvas world anyway!) I'll hopefully get a few more up and see how they all go, but for now this is my first one, let's hope for the best! Please view them if you like that sort of thing :...

Well, this is all quite new to me, I don't usually write blogs or anything but there's a first time for everthing I guess. So, I'm a student, I love photos and art and the meaning behind them, but I'm studying Social Work instead. I travelled to Africa last year to teach in primary schools and so most of my photos are from there. I'm trying to play around with a few new things but my camera is currently broken!
