A needling, worrying, faint humming of an interruption.

I’ve set myself in the studio to start my day’s writing. I’ve arranged all my particulars neatly as I always do. Pencils and paper are properly placed. And sketches and references are set on easels within easy view. But, more importantly, matches and humidor are set next to the ashtray and with a cigar in my talented fingers, I'm now ready to go.
