Hoping those finals are coming along for you Ben- best wishes from me and all in the WIP!
Hi Ben!! If you have time to follow the new wip's and update the weekly wip then I will be very happy to have some help with it... meanwhile, I figured folks might do their own updates using the new space:)http://groups.bluecanvas.com/WORK-IN-PROGRESS/forum/post/2992
I probably don't have time yet :( Work and school have me buried most of the time, I'm lucky to get canvas time as it is! Though, in the spirit of togetherness, I nominate Fred.
Thanks for your comments own my 'works in progress' post...the blue board is glued together with 'tough as nails' and then you can carve it with saws, dremel tools, steel brushes, and whatever you can make work. The blue board is pretty easy to work with though chisel and such do not work so well. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, but I am fighting the flu and have not been on the internet for a couple days!
Hi Dierdra, ditto that! I should have responded to this right away... I get kinda' digital overload when I'm on here on fridays... short-circuit, and voila, totally forgotten. I thought maybe you hot-knifed the foam - of course that's like one of those unicorn tools for me. hear great stories about them, but never see one. Hope you get well soon! And thanks for getting back to me :)
Thanks for the stars and encouraging comments :)
Thanks for yours too - your work is very "tight" - beautiful paintings and pastels. And colored pencil :) I fell in love with colored pencil a few years ago, and somehow it's brought me back to oils... funny how these things work.
BENJAMIN WELCOME TO WORK IN PROGRESS! Your personal WIP Forum is now available for you here:) ... http://groups.bluecanvas.com/WORK-IN-PROGRESS/forum/post/2411 ... I suggest you might bookmark this page for easy reference.... and remember to FOLLOW THIS THREAD on "The Evening WIP" to receive notices of the latest WIP Forum posts..http://groups.bluecanvas.com/WORK-IN-PROGRESS/forum/post/2114
So, what's the difference between adding images to forum/post/2411 and adding them directly to the group? I'm a little confused on this, as adding to one negates the ability to do the other, or so it seems.. .
Benjamin, no problem. You are welcome to add any of your approrpriate images as qwith any work to the group....and I have made available a personal forum space where you can add notes and commentary as well as shots of yoru work in progress...in fact, you are welcome to use it in any way you use a work space in developing your finished art work. This group is about acknowledging and sharing the process, or the "behind the scenes" on our art.
You might like to get an idea of how others use this space by checking out the latest posts at the so-called EVENING WIP- this is a regular update I put together for the group. It is worthwhile remembering to FOLLOW THE THREAD at least on your own forum, and on the EVENING WIP. Hope that helps:)

ok RR (can i call u RR? :)) , I think I am just SLOW! No, seriously, I'm missing something, but I think I can clear up my 'duh' moment by just trying it. Off to go get WIPed!
Me again. So - in case you have any other newbs to WIP that are like "wait, I can't get art in there, since I have it in another group it disappears!?" -- - the thing i was totally blind to was the selection of art to the right of the text-entry box on my WIP page. So anyhow my WIP is aliiiiiive now. Thanks RR!
Hi Ben,when we are goin to see more, you got a fantastic light control, special on the boxer lady and the 'sombre' eye of Will -_-
Hi Adolfo, good point ("...see more"), this has been on my mind for months! When oh when will I complete something; I think I need to loosen up and just 'do it', too much thought lately. Thanks for the comment on light - the boxer was sort of a breakthrough in technique for me, need to follow up on it! Good thing for the community on here lighting a small fire under me :)
lovely art ben,hugs linda
thanks Linda - now if only I could complete a few projects and start something new.. . it seems i have such a small number of pieces up so far!

Thank you!
