My dream in life is to share the beauty I see through my camera, and hope that the beauty you see brings joy to your life.

Photography has always been an interest of mine. I remember my grandpa always taking pictures of us as a kid and I always looked forward to our next visit because they would be developed. I also remember receiving my first camera (Kodak Instamatic 126) and it came with a roll of B&W Film. That did it for me, I was hooked. I got my next inspiration in middle school when I took my first Photography class. In this class we learned to develop B&W film and negatives. That’s when the seed was planted and I’ve been absorbed in photography ever since.
Since the first digital point and shoot cameras, where a photo was only 640X480, to more advance point and shoots, I’ve owned many. Then in December 2006 the hobby became more real. My wife bought me my first real camera – SONY DSLR A100. This is when things I’ve always dreamed of doing with a camera became possible. SONY has always been the manufacturer of the sensors used in digital cameras and this was their first DSLR after buying the camera division from Minolta. The lens that came with the camera kit was a SONY 18-70mm and my wife also picked up a Tamron 28-300mm. The Tamron has been the lens I’ve used the most. After that I added a Used Minolta 50mm Macro. After 15,000 shots I replaced the A100 with an A350, followed a couple of months later with a Tamron 90mm Macro.
My dream would be to see as many parts of this beautiful blue planet through my camera lens as possible. Although my career is currently in the horticulture field and this is what I’ve done for the last 24+ years, I would love for photography to become more of my everyday life. So as you look through my gallery you’ll understand why I shoot so many flowers and plants, I see them a little different than the average person.
Thank you for stopping by,
