SMOG CITY was born out of West Los Angeles in 2004 after research on air pollution for a college project fused with the urban guerilla poster art movement of the time.
People had to know what I had learned, and what better way to do that then force it into the public eye. By drawing from the dark side of living in LA, mixed with factual information. An image was born. With grassroots help from friends and fans, the project spread quickly.
Since then SMOG CITY has become a LA staple of wheat paste, and spread across the country and across the world.
