I am a Classically trained in fine Artist. My main focus in in Textiles and Fiber Arts.
I studied Industrial and Interior Design at Kendall College of Art & Design where I received a BFA. I continued my studies of textiles In Fujino Japan, focusing on natural dyes and silk production. Additional studies in Shibori and traditional Japanese methods of weaving.
I have a passion for working on miniature/small scale works of art that generate a strong emotional and bold statement. I have a goal to say a lot with in my work by executing it with in the smallest of space.
I am currently in beginning stages of producing 3D kinetic Fiber works.
