I draw and paint portraits of women that explore the intersection of race, class, and gender on individual and collective identities through the lens of "white trash." So, mostly trashy babes.
Represented by Zg Gallery in Chicago.

You have some amazing work here! It makes me feel dirty and gritty but in a good way. My 6 year old son said it best "Those are very beautiful zombies" =) Also Gummo IS the best movie ever!

Your work is amazing! Not only do you have an amazing talent for photographic quality replication of subjects but you completely make it your own through your creative representation of the injury administered, your work is incredible! Love your portrait art, the element of photography is apparent in your work which I love. I would love to get that detailed with oil, right now I can only accomplish it with prisma colored pencils. love the emotion and feeling you create in each portrait! beautiful work!

Btw, Ke$ha's, "Cannibal," is a perfect example of this, don't you think!?
Ke$ha is one of my biggest inspirations!
These are incredible; I really don't want to keep looking, but I can't stop myself! Attraction and revulsion; wonder and disgust. Ambiguity - one of my favorite emotional places - but don't tell anyone; oh, wait . . . . (Thank you!)

Love your art, but favorite movie: Gummo? For real? C'mon girl!
It's a tie with Juno, but I somehow feel like that doesn't help my case!

Great real painting. You should check out the work of British painter Jenny Saville. Congrats!
She's definitely an inspiration, so I'm glad you see the connection.

I trully enjoy how gripping the people look and how close the detail is revealing sides that are not trully attractive but are very much in everyone.

Wow. I agree with edwinlong - every piece you have created here stirs extreme emotion. Very powerful and moving. I can honestly say the percieved violence in some of these is disturbing to me - but there again - the skill in which you stir emotion - girl, this blows me away. Keep up the good work.
