About me

I am more or less a self taught artist of various mediums. I have been a freelance graphic designer for the last 20ish years (part of that time working full time for various companies and organizations). I have extensive experience as a screen printer. I have some experience as a scenic artist, props builder, and makeup artist for the theater. I have experience in sculpting polystyrene. I have some training as a mime. I was the director of an arts school for about a year. My wife and I taught drama even though I have little acting experience (other than mime). I have experience as a percussionist and I am in the middle of creating and perfecting a musical instrument of my own (a single string guitar and drum combination, it more or less looks like a banjo). I am also working on building a body of work, mostly consisting of paintings in oil and acrylic. I recently illustrated a book my wife wrote called Truman Burrows, Kid Spy. We hand bound and sell the books ourselves. I am currently writing several chapter books for kids. I have done a little public speaking as my wife, Missy, and I are promoters of creativity and art. I also cut my own hair.
