Hahaha thanks, high five right back at you. I'd love to stay away from it and its fickle, fragile nature but the surface is just so damn sexy and it's cheap as hell! We'll see, if I break a piece in half then I'll probably swear it off
It does have a sexy surface... Maybe you could rip one of the surface layers off and mount it to something else... or maybe that would be a complete disaster. Haha. I'm going to be thinking about how to solve the foam core problem all day now.
Hahaha good luck with that, I mean you could throw it through some kind of saw but that's almost certainly asking to lose your hands...can you dissolve/melt foamcore like styrofoam? That would be cool.
I was thinking mat cutter. My friend just off cut half of his index finger with a saw so i wouldn't recommend that route. You could try gesso-ing/sanding a panel until you get a finish that's just as sexy. Haha. If you try melting foam core, wear a mask. We don't want you ending up like Eva Hesse.
