I'll have to figure out how to check out other folders.
rrhall Replied: February 11, 2010
underneath the scrolling images of a user's featured folder is a button that says "More Folders"...opposite the Fullscreen function then you just click the album you want (they display over the featured folder images). There is also an arrow at the bottom right of the pop up screen in case a person has more than 4 additional folders...
eldigitalartist Replied: February 11, 2010
cool I don't know how I missed it

rrhall Replied: February 11, 2010
Thank you! I had a lot of it mixed in with my color and had to sacrifice about 200 stars and a lot of great critique and comments to seperate it but in the end i'm happy that it is now all organized and easier for viewing. Glad you enjoyed it
fotofiddlerphotography  Posted: February 11, 2010
I want to tell yo uthat I raly enjoyed viewing your gallery. You have alot of talent! Thank yo ufor all the props and stars..You are sweet to give me some tips on how to shoot that ring in book! Happy snapping!
rafe  Posted: February 09, 2010
Decided to make the folder huh? Bummer you lost all those stars and critiques!
rrhall Replied: February 09, 2010
Yeah...Well I realized that when people look at your art, the side bar for them to transfer to a different piece, only will include thumbs up to your third page of artwork. So I had a 4th and 5th page of things never being looked at...the only way you could view it was if you waited for it on my profile page where it tiles through. So this way at least all my stuff will be visible I guess.

Ok i now understand that you are explaining to me mistletoe, but why are you explaining mistletoe to me? Is this in regards to your work, mine?, perhaps someone elses. Or are you just kindly informing me of mistletoe? Sorry if somethings going over my head I have a lot of activity on this site.

Hey thanks for the kind cooments. I LOVE your work! I commonly use 3 shots for each HDR photo. Mark
rrhall Replied: January 11, 2010
what bracket? 2, 1, .3, .7? And with photomatix, perhaps its your camera I just feel as though you get a little more range out of it and umph out of it?
dee  Posted: January 11, 2010
I have felt that too.I'm much better with my writing tho :D .You should go for it! :)

Thanks very much. The sounds like a great idea. that I might have to try out.
rafe  Posted: January 09, 2010
...also, thanks for checking out some of the other photos and commenting and giving stars.
rafe  Posted: January 09, 2010
Why did you post it 4 times? Good right up...might try out Photomatix once I take some HDR shots.
rrhall Replied: January 09, 2010
I have no idea, I think i was just being impatient and clicking the save button multiple times so it just registered that way. BTW sorry for just now checking out the other shots, I did not realize that you could make different folders for your artwork, I thought there was just artwork, personall, and collection. I'm not sure a lot of people on here are aware about the folders other than the one that automatically displays. I'll probably organize my stuff down the road, but for now i'm gonna leave it one big cluttered folder.
rafe Replied: January 09, 2010
I'm kinda wishing I would have left it too. Oh well. Unfortunately I don't think you can transfer the photos from folder to folder.
rrhall Replied: January 09, 2010
Oh really forget it then i'll lose so many stars. I dunno why but i'm addicted to those things. Blue Canvas stars are like crack to me.
rafe Replied: January 09, 2010
Well you've received quite a bit. I haven't broke 100 yet, but I'm not out commenting and rating as much as you are.
fotofiddlerphotography  Posted: January 08, 2010
Tutorials are good! This is so good of you to do!
rrhall Replied: January 08, 2010
Yeah I just have to get the time to type it all out and make sure its snazzy and understandable for all readers. I'm also trying to pick out 5 images so that people can try the processing of it without going out and taking the photo's themselves, so they can be familiar with it and do their own images with ease when they get around to taking them.
markseanorr  Posted: January 07, 2010
Looking forward to yuour HDR tutorial. I love HDR....I'll post a few photos soon. Mark
rrhall Replied: January 08, 2010
Can't wait to see them, I do love my HDR.
rafe  Posted: January 07, 2010
I've yet to do an HDR photo. Is it really hard to prepare it in Photoshop? Why do you recommend Photomatix? I understand the concept of taking atleast 3 different shots so you can get the highlights and the darks and everything, but how do you merge them? I guess I'll just wait for the tutorial.
rrhall Replied: January 08, 2010
photoshop has a merge to hdr option under File-Automate. but i reccomend photomatix because photosho does not fit the images well, and when converting it, you will have to use a bunch of settings such as local adaptation and gamma that to even very experienced photographers, are extremely confusing. i love photoshop, but hdr is all photomatix does, so its more user friendly and yields better results
