Well, first I just like the sound of the word. I came across it randomly one day while I was working on the piece. It was part of a series of work that were about my childhood. That piece is about a nightmare I had as a child where I was chased by two people that were attempting to drug me with a shot into my spinal chord. It was very intense and has stayed with me. I also like the ambiguity of it.

Thank you very much for the complete and personal explanation. I´m a doctor, we call "anamnesis" the questionnaire we ask patients prior to the clinical examination.

I was unaware of that definition. Thanks for the knowledge! I only knew of it as meaning "loss of forgetfullness" which I think is a very interesting phrase.
