Hello again Jeremy! Thanks for the visit and the stars. :) I just posted a new encaustic piece called "The Passage" that I think might appeal to your value sensibilities. ;)

Really subtle, beautiful work Jeremy. I think we share a few common interests...beginning with a love affair with carbon dust. :)

Didn't I see some of your work in American Artist Drawing quarterly? That piece in the laundromat looks awfully familiar.

Hmm.. I wish I could say yes, but I wasn't aware that the magazine had put any of my work in it. Do you remember which issue this was? Anyway, I dig your work, the ink pieces are wonderful.

Oh, your cv solved this mystery. It was Manifest's INDA 4. I borrowed the issue from Billy Renkl, who was also in INDA 4.

Ah.. ok. Glad you got to see the catalog, Manifest has some pretty cool shows.

Nice stuff! Are all these done in charcoal?
Posted by plunkett on November 17, 2010
Yes they are, thank you for the compliment!
They are great! Can you tell me about how much time you put into one?
They each varied in the amount of time, but I'd say I spent anywhere from a month to six weeks on one.
