Hi Nico. Thanks for your visit and for the stars and comments. No one would know you were not professional if you didn't say. ;-)
Oh ok, I feel too that every painting is an abstract from the original subject unless it's photorealism, I suppose... I think we're on the same page now. ;) Often I put paint to paper with no prior thought as to what it will become and eventually see an image and work it to where I feel it's done...Thanks!
Can you define your thoughts on what 'an abstraction' is to you?
Hi Ellen. My question on the forum was not about 'an abstraction', because every painting is an abstraction, as Magritte pointed us out neatly. I am asking the question about abstract work, in which you see no natural forms/figurations. Then you have to look for other clues if you are to decide if it's finished.
Hello Nico, thanks for your comments and stars.... I'm very glad...your art is very expression and strong.. thanks thanks thanks!....
Thank you for the stars and comments Nico, I really appreciate it. You have a very unique and creative style, I enjoyed looking through your gallery.
Hi, it's me again. I've looked it up on Wikipedia (not to be confused with wikileaks ;-)). This is what Wiki says about groovy: Groovy is a slang term popular during the 1960s and 1970s and which is often associated with African American culture of that era. It is roughly synonymous with words such as cool, excellent, fashionable, or amazing, depending on context. Groovy originated in the jazz culture of the 1930s, in which it referred to the groove of a piece of music.[1] Groovy had largely vanished from everyday use by 1980.[2]
Your welcome... sorry about the local colloquialism! I use the word to say that in my opinion your work falls under the upper echelon of super coolness! Groovy is a term still used by a lot of super cool individuals in America! Thanks for accepting my friendship.

Hi Nico! thank you for the star and comment .. love your work
