Oh, I'm starting to get the itch again. I've been working in the logging world and haven't had much time to get a lens between myself and the world as I trespass to see it =P

I'm going to Alaska in July. Driving up with my grandfather. I'll have plenty of images to share upon my return, or maybe even along the way. Nature is not really my best subject, but I don't mind giving it a shot...ha no pun intended.

I certainly will. Thanks for the encouragement. I have been so out of the whole art scene for almost a year now, but you have actually inspired me to pick my camera up and get out to shoot. I'm going to take some photos this evening and share a few maybe.

I've been working sunup to sundown logging for almost a year now. If I had my camera with me I'd have some great images for sure. I've been thinking about bringing it to work sometime, but my boss absolutely hates art and artists.

Um....ever thought about going where your soul might be more appreciated?

And don't misunderstand me. I'm not judgmental about the logging industry or your means of a living. I believe we do the best we can and I respect that. I just mean....you're obviously an artist through and through. Pretty magical stuff... You can't lose it, it's already you.

Trust me, I've been doing a ton of thinking lately. :)
