I live in rural Pennsylvania, USA. My eyes were a camera since I was a child, imprinting everything, but I did not even own one until about two years ago. My poetry and photos have been published, most recently in Pink Panther Magazine.
I have lupus, a chronic medical condition which I forget all about when I am absorbed in my artistic work.

BRIEF NOTE TO THOSE OF YOU KIND ENOUGH TO VISIT AND LEAVE COMMENTS OR STARS ON MY WORK: (These words are borrowed from Lianne)

Sometimes the circumstances of our lives make it difficult, if not impossible, to do all we'd like to do or to spend the time we'd like to spend here on BC. For me, that means that I cannot always find the time to express my gratitude to each of you for your lovely, supportive comments. While I'd like to do that, it seems much more important to me to thank you by visiting your work when possible and telling you how much your art enriches my life or just leaving a star when time does not allow me the luxury of commenting at length. So please consider my comment or star on your work as my thank you for yours to me. When I can, I'll get back to you personally - but probably not in anything like a timely manner - lol.

Those same constraints of time and circumstance also make it unlikely, if not impossible, that I will catch ALL of your work, particularly if you are inclined to upload more than a couple of pieces in any given day. I'd like to see it all - believe me - but I can't get to everyone whose work is important to me or to new artists who touch me somehow if I spend what little time I have on one person. Eventually, when I can browse at leisure, I'll probably rediscover what I missed!

And I hope we'd all agree, as artists, that in today's hurried environment, it's also extremely important to reserve some of that time for our own creative expression and endeavors. So I hope you'll accept this note more as an explanation than as an apology for the limitations of time and energy I can give to BC in general and to thank yous in particular. You are ALL stars in my book!
