Contest

The Contest

For our next contest we want your vision, literal or metaphorical, in any medium of the theme "Environments". Political, science fictional, biological, ideological, all interpretations are welcome. Submit your vision for the theme in an original artwork of any medium, size or shape. The winners will be published in Bluecanvas Magazine Issue #14.

The Prize(s)

1st Place: $600 Credit to Blue Rooster Art Supplies

2nd Place: $400 Credit to Blue Rooster Art Supplies

3rd Place: $200 Credit to Blue Rooster Art Supplies

The Rules

Submissions are free.
Must have a Bluecanvas account. (It's free to sign up on bluecanvas.com/sign-up)
The image being submitted must be viewable on your Bluecanvas profile (Please do not indicate that it is a contest submission).
No more than 3 submissions per person.
Artwork must have a title, as well as a brief description of 50 words or less describing how your work portrays the theme "Environments".
All mediums are welcome. For artwork that needs to be photographed, such as paintings or sculpture, please make sure that the photograph represents your work well and does not have glare, blurriness, etc.

The Deadline

Submission window: Saturday, April 14, 2012 – Friday, July 13, 2012

(Issue #13 is scheduled to be released in July of 2012)

The Requirements

Image requirements: minimum 300dpi, 3000 x 3000 pixels

Email contest@bluecanvas.com using the contest theme "Environments" in the subject line. The body of the email must contain a link to the image on bluecanvas.com
