Looking for a wealth of art knowledge? Check out the blog of the amazing artist and creator of Dinotopia, James Gurney. In it he shares his travels, sketches, and insights of his own painting techniques along with the old masters that have come before him. The best part of his blog is that it almost seems as though you're in a classroom, something you don't get from most artist's blogs. You can definitely sense his love for not only the arts but sharing his knowledge. Also recommended is checking out his two books, "Imaginative Realism" and "Color and Light" where he gathers many of his most insightful entries.
