Artist Spotlight: Alex Kanevsky

Alex Kanevsky is a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania based painter who teaches at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Kanevsky was raised in Russia and was trained in both Lithuania and the United States, a situation he describes as letting him not be tied to either tradition, and letting him wander in both influences.
