I've been an artist / designer / visual communicator in some capacity my entire life. I hold a BFA in Fine Art + Graphic Design and an MFA in Visual Communications. From 1996-2006, I was a 'MADwoMAN' working as an art director in a few advertising agencies, until I finally decided to fly from the corporate cookoo's nest and began freelancing out of my home. It was then when I re-kindled with an old flame - abstract painting - and since then, I've never looked back.

Elements are the most basic building blocks of all matter. There are basic elements in art as well. I focus the essential, simple, beautiful elements of form and color. I follow both Minimalist and Modernist schools of thought. Mies van der Rohe said it best with 'Less is More.' This 'information age' we are currently living in bombards us with inundating, disjointed fragments of visual information that, over time, tends to dull and numb our visual senses. Abstract art just may be an essential resurging movement that may re-boot our over stimulated visual vernacular. It's the beautiful, elemental 'white space' we all crave. I paint what I feel and I paint what I feel is missing in the world. Welcome to my point of view. Take a deep breath and explore until your heart's content.
