Through the use of different viscosities of acrylic paint, my pictures develop into complex color fields or surreal landscapes featuring solid, amorphous shapes. My paintings begin by preparing a substrate with various absorbent grounds, then progressively adding low viscosity acrylic inks, to medium viscosity fluid acrylics, and finally heavy body acrylic with which the most distinct forms are given composition. This process is intended to produce a depth to my pictures in which earlier layers truly recede and the heavier formations take the stage. My painting technique has resulted in producing a recognizable, phantasmal setting in which my abstract forms charm the landscape in a world that is equally imaginative.
