Hello I have uploaded a forum in the group thetalented and as you are one of the featured artists I would like to let you know that you can now post your work on the wall, tell us a bit about it, say what week it featured, what it is called and then have people in the group give you feedback on it. There is another forum opening up for artists to promote their work and have a bit of a chat with fellow artists! Thanks!

Dear Leslie June,

thanks for the stars and the kind comments about my work. I am particularly pleased that such a young artist apparently takes a liking to my pictures.
I've read that you study religion and believe that your very feminine, very poetic kind of photography is quite original and – for me - this is a contrast to the position of women in most religions known to me.
I think the photography will be your life, it speaks so much creativity out of your images. In combination with your poetic talent there is much to expect from you in the future.
A short while ago I had a contact with Carol Gearing (see carolg1849 on bluecanvas). I think there are similarities to your work. Another very feminine way of art. Carol is influenced by shamanism. Perhaps you can take a look at her page too.

happen to be a firecracker of a woman myself. I love religions and I certainly love Shamanism. The spookier, the more interesting. I truly cannot tell you how deeply touched I am that you feel I have something to go with here, with my photographic work. Poetry can only spread to so many people, so I want to reach out even more than that. It is interesting that you aligned me with this wonderful artist (my last name is actually "Gehring" pronounced the same way!) Her work is very esoteric and I can see her influences! Very geometric at times, like Native American shamanism, but also colorful and vibrant, the way a mind works during a dream. Thank you for sharing, and again, you have made me a happy lady.
