Love classic movies!
I watched "A Star is Born," 1937 today, and next, I am watching "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane," how can you resist a movie like that?? Bette Davis and Joan Crawford together !!! .... oh yes, and also watching (after the kids go to bed), "The Graduate."
Back in October TCM had a run of old ghost movies going. They actually gave me more chills than the outright horror flicks today do.
You got that right !!!!! Chills and Thrills with an actual story line, or also, chills and thrills with the cheese factor......... B Movies, I love them. Check out, Roger Corman's (he was a writer and producer) movies..... he has a ton of great cinematic excitement. I'm going to watch "Piranha" (1978) very very soon !!!

If you like B movies then you need to look up The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra. It is actually newer, but they did an amazing job of making a 1950's campy B movie. :D

Thank you, Frederique...... it means a lot to me to still be noticed here...... I wrote this today on FB, and it pretty well sums it up : Is it possible to be stressed out and bored at the same time?
This week has been a challenge. Rob had surgery for his clavicle, Alex had strep throat, my dad had an ablation at the Heart Hospital, then Alex almost broke his hand while playing yesterday (had x-rays @ docs office today, just a bad sprain), and Diego has been verbally stimming non stop for two days.
I feel like I am the next one that is about to "break."
Urghhhhh, .... but, all the while, I took care of my family.
I just feel....... I don't know.... I can't seem to find true relief.
I hope this coming week is better.
I don't even have energy for friends. My wish would be a deserted island, all by myself !!!
And, while all this was happening, I didn't relenquish myself to the drink......... until today. That means, I made it 5 whole days without alcohol.
I say lock yourself in the bathroom and do a nice beach visualization... smell the salt air, hear the lapping waves...
