Thanks, I loved it but never again.... I am not a wedding photographer....... it was an great experience though and maybe they won't be so stressful the more I did, but not something I would do for a living. :-)

We are okay, how are you? Our typhoon came early, was supposed to hit us on Wednesday but came yesterday. Still getting a lot of rain, but it keeps the temp. down. Hope you and your family are okay!!

I'm so relieved to hear you and your loved ones are OK. When I hear the word "typhoon", I have these images within my brain. Where I live in my borough of Queens (NY), I made out fine throughout "Irene". Minimal flooding and only a few downed trees. Heavy winds continued after "Irene" passed through. Technically, she was with us longer than estimated. Even though the rains stopped, the winds were still strong. There were many towns in Queens that didn't do well. Many parts of Manhattan (NYC), Long Island (NY), Staten Island (NY), New Jersey and Connecticut that were damaged from heavy floodings and winds. I hope you and the family stay safe.

Thanks Lisa, I love your writings. Never get a chance to comment as I am always stumped as what to say. And a "lovely" just doesn't do it :-)) On Saturday we have to climb Sung Lou as that is like a "Training" hike for Snow Mountain. Don't know how I will feel on Sunday but each day we go further and further and so far so good :-))

Did a 8km hike up a very steep hill to take a photo...... my legs are not used to that. :-)) Today they decided that enough is enough. So I have spent the day reading and groaning every time I have to walk. But I have to get into shape as we are going to climb to the summit in October..... well that is the plan.

Hehe....getting old kiddo!

I have no idea what happened to my answer?? The reason I took up the cello was for the same reason. wow, I can't believe that :-)) I have been playing for almost a year now, still can't play it but it will come. I find a cello really touches my soul. I find a violin is too squeaky but a cello really resonates/speaks to your soul

I started when I was thirty three years old..and I have been able to play Baroque Music with some friends, and participate in numerous concerts as a "continuo player" and sometimes even a soloist. So I encourage you to keep on learning and try to meet a teacher that would encourage duetts or trios...and choose the music you want to play and stick to it....I am sending you my best wishes for your success and whenever you wish to have a direct repport of the experience...just mail me up, will you? I have my first concert in September. And I have to do a solo. I am so nervous. I am playing Bach's Minuetto 2. Don't know why she gave me a solo for my first concert but I am so nervous
