So hey, Jim, I need to find an original design for a 1942, WWII bulldog - USMC - Flash I think is the right term :) Any idea where I could find one? Your designs are amazing. I had a student this past semester - taking color and composition, who owns a tattoo shop near LA. I've learned so much!

I'm not exactly sure about a design used that specific year, but i know that there are alot of people or publishing companies that will collect old flash (especially military) to publish into books...Those usually get pretty expensive though. Are you trying to incorporate an old design like that into a painting? If so, i would be able to tell you how to design something in that style... It is an interesting art form though. I feel like i learn something new everytime i tattoo.
