What kind? Acrylic, oil, watercolor, tempera? What colors? How much of you is covered? Why are you covered?
Hahaha. Oil. Mostly violets, blue and brown. I painted for about four hours straight last night and was involved, dropping brushes, things were "splattering" I went to bed around 1 or 2 and woke up with my hands and feet coated in random marks as if I had been using both to work and random paint up my arms. Did not get a shower before work this morning luckily I teach art so I simply added charcoal and photo emulsion to the mess! ;)
Awesome. That's the ONLY way to paint if you ask me :) I remember when working on my MFA, I was painting on wood panel in a very art brut fashion with knife and all, just beating the crap out of the paint and building, scraping, tossing. . .suffice to say the MFA studio looked like hell when I was done, but man was it worth it! LOVE IT!
Ok, I just now got around to looking at your artwork, and it is all outstanding! As a whole the quality is very consistant and all the paintings fits together nicely as a series to look at.
Thanks! Basically I do portraits with projected light so even when the concept changes they have a similar quality. I am glad you like them.
Love your blurb! Truly one of the great and misunderstood geniuses of our time. (Oscar the Grouch: [driving into a junkyard] "This is where I wanna be - grouch paradise! Just look it at. It's like a work of art." )
Oscar was always my favorite, then Grover, than Snuffelapagus
They had an episode last week where Oscar was a painter trying to make everyone angry with his work but in the end he was the angry one because they loved his painting, so he was happy because he made "someone" angry.

I suggest starting from the begining. . . .
