I have been interested in photography since the late 50's. I was processing black & white film in the early 60's in high school. I worked for Polaroid in Cambridge MA for 12 years. While stationed in Japan on my first Vietnam tour I bought my first Olympus. It was 1965 and the camera was a Pen-F half frame.
During the 80's I bought my first Olympus OM. Over the years I kept upgrading to each model as they came out. The last OM in the series was the OM-4T of which I had 2 bodies. During that time I did all of my own processing in my darkroom at home.
I got into digital a couple of years ago with the E500. Later I bought an SP570UZ which is a great camera. I now shoot with an E620 with an 18 to 180 as my primary all purpose lens. I occasionally use the 2 lens that came with the camera. I have an FL-36 and a double battery powerpack that fastens to the bottom of the camera.
I carry 4 batteries, charger, and a total of 20 gig of memory storage as well as a portable card reader with a capacity of 60 gig. I'm set for a lot of shooting.
