I saw your feature in Issue 11, and I just love your work, you should put some in the shop! I would buy it all
Hey, I remember seeing your work at one of the Otis art shows I went to a while back. Really love your style, amazing flow to everything. Incidentally, do you know Kristen Moore? For some reason I think she might be a friend of yours (we were buds back at UC Santa Barbara). Keep up the sweet art.
Oh cool. No I'm in Calabasas at the moment and often traversing through parts of LA. It's funny, but I see traces of your styles in each other's work. I believe she showed me some of your art at some point, which is why I thought you might be friends. Kristen was really great, we had a painting class together and some fun conversations. I remember it sounded like she was going through a lot at the time. How is she doing?
She's not doing so well- medical issues with her arms have basically crippled her so she can't draw much these days. It's megatragic. She's so talented.
Maybe I'll run into to you one of these days, not that we know what each other looks like... but I do live in downtown LA so there is always that weird possibility!
I am so sorry to hear that, I had no idea. Is there any chance of her recovering from it? She is so very very talented, I would hate to hear that she couldn't produce anything anymore. Perhaps we shall meet at some point. I'm usually a tall, loud, blonde guy with a short Asian girlfriend, that tends to be how most people interpret my presence. You wouldn't happen to know Chris Barischoff as well, would you? Very good friend of mine, also went to Otis. Might see you at some point through him if that happened to be the case. Yay for weird possibilities!
There is a chance she'll improve if she undergoes invasive surgery but there is also a good chance that she'll be dealing with this for the rest of her life... tis a scary thought. I DO know Chris! He's such a sweet, talented guy! Well... hmm... I have no way to describe what I look like other than a medium height girl with varying colors and lengths of hair. That's enough to ID me, right? Take care buddy! Maybe I'll see you around.
That's really terrible. I wish her the best though, for whatever she decides to go through to help her situation.
I think that that's enough to ID you, I'm sure I'll see your work at some art shows eventually, that'll be enough of a clue :)
Thank you for your post! I was actually going to email you and tell you how brilliant I think your work is. It's incredible. Love seeing your blog and watching the process. Great article in BC too, congrats :) Are you doing the 300 show in May?
Likewise my friend! So excited! I read further on your article and was stoked you love Jean Pierre Jeunet's films! They melt me. Also saw that you do sculpture and editorial. You're a creative machine. Hope that's not too stalker-esque but your work is so inspiring.
I absolutely love your art! I found you through issue 11 of bluecanvas...I have to say, I am very envious of your linework. I love the fluidity and colors of your art, even the sketches. Keep it up!
Have you been in the Magazine yet?
I was in it maybe 5 months ago or so and I exhibited as part of the release party for that issue, but I will have a more extensive feature in the upcoming issue to be released at the beginning of next year.
Thoroughly enjoyed browsing your work, in particular your line work, shapes and usage of color. Thanks

I love your line work, and your color work is so subtle and beautiful. Really amazing, I find your work really inspiring and I love how you show the progression of your work, each phase of it really stands alone as its own piece. Great job!
