Congratulations on the feature, Cathy! Haven't been to your portfolio in a while, but I love your style!
Thanks so much for coming by my gallery, Cathy, and thanks for the stars! Really appreciate you taking the time.
I really love your work too. Like Judith, I discovered you in the "most recent" gallery.
Thank you!!! Yes I find the somewhat symbiotic relationship of animals and humans really provocative..
Saw some of your pieces in the "most recent" gallery. Really love your work! Wonderful abstracts, love the colors, the moods you create!
By the way..used to be a watercolor artists myself..I actually switched mediums because I alway heared how difficult it was to make a living at it. Never understood how the most difficult medium could be the most looked over. I love watercolor and still wet my acrylics down and paint in layers! Its nice to see you are breaking the mold..and I didnt realize these where watercolors the other day. I like how you still keep the pigments very saturated. Have you ever thought of getting into the Santa Fe market? That would be really good for you and I see this style doing well.
Hey thank you Cody! I will look into that in the future. I do not have any work out west and I probably should do that! Many thanks and I agree, watercolor is a very overlooked medium!
nice stuff any tips on making it as an artist?
Paint every day as if it were your last! The discovery and love of painting are the true rewards of being an artist. Just enjoy the journey the rest will take care of itself! your work is wonderful and fascinating...you are doing just fine!
