I am a self taught painter, also a scientist and family physician. Painting is my passion, it consumes me and drives my thoughts. I have alway desired to be a Renaissance man. I have always loved to draw, paint, create. I truly appreciate the variety and talent of the artists on Blue Canvas, which I visit daily. Being part of this site helps me to stay focused on my art and inspires me.
I live in the Wilkes-barre/Scranton area of Pennsylvania. I have a bachelors of science from Wilkes University and a medical doctorate from Drexel University in Philadelphia. I have passion for portraits, but I like doing landscapes. I generally work in acrylics. I have been painting since 2007 and hope to continue to improve.

Thank-You for stars. I'm looking at your portraits right now. Wonderful work ! I believe you are a Renaissance man. Most painters are wildly right brained, but you must have allot going on in the left side of your brain to be a scientist and a family physician.
