love the contrast you've created between the figure and background. thank you for giving me something great to look at!
HELLO!!
You have been scouted to join "THETALENTED" please join and post your work at http://groups.bluecanvas.com/thetalented
Thankyou!

Frank, your work is great. My favorite is "Danny II" which I added to my collection. It seems more dynamic with the houses receding into the background, and "Danny" really just POPS of the canvas. Just awesome.
thank you so very much. thank you for taking the time to check out the work and gifting me all of those stars.
Under the gun here, too! I think the pressure is kind of helpful, don't you?
hahah yesss... and no! Ijust started a job about 3 weeks ago... which is great to have income again.. but im so tired by the time i get home that it's extremely hard to keep motivated! but im workin through it. we shall see!
Frank...your work is great.
Well, that works better than- "Can I be Dick with you?" (Sorry to all the Richards out there) hehehe!
Check out Patrick Lee. Your arts are complimentary>>>> http://www.booooooom.com/2010/10/06/graphite-drawings-by-artist-patrick-lee/
really great stuff you have Frank!
hey thanks a lot my friend. Thank you for taking the time to check out my work and of course for throwin those stars at me! it's appreciated!
Outstanding work. It perfectly captures the ennui and suffocation of suburban American decay.
hey thank you so much for taking the time to check out all of my work... and of course thank you for the stars.
Frank, your work is amazing! its all so wonderfully rendered. also i love your use of negative space. beautiful gallery.
thanks for the warm welcome. i was actually admiring your gallery before you commented. in what medium are the most recent portraits completed? they look like colored pencil (i feel like i can see grain, but it might be my imagination). my second guess is watercolor.
hey! theyre actually done in oil. if youre seeing grain, its probably the light hitting the canvas. Ihavent used colored pencil in a little while, although I'd love to give it another go.
i just now realized where the written part of the piece is located. i'm so used to it being directly below the image that i was lost. well kudos. oil is something i've had a more than difficult time picking up.
Incredible work! You have some crazy patience and discipline. I get itchy and antsy just thinking about sitting down and drawing. Peppers was at OU when I was there, but I never had him. I had Ron Kroutel for painting and drawing classes. He has probly retired by now. enough of this, get buisy on your show..
Hey thanks. Peppers is around and Ive gotten the pleasure of taking his painting class a couple times and assisting him in class. Ron is still active in the art community in the Athens area and I've had him for visits in my studio before. Theyre both great. I'm workin hard and looking forward to my show! Great meeting you (sort of).
very strong and intensely realistic portraiture style... congrats on feature...! love the face feature detail, the expressions are powerful

Great portfolio Frank. d
