Through the years the Vianden Historical Festival has developed into an annual highlight. The forthcoming 11th edition of the hustle and bustle will take place from 28th July through 5th August 2012 and promises a versatile and spectacular programme. For nine days more than a hundred participants and reenactors will breathe medieval life into the old halls and bowers.
Experience medieval everyday life, pop round in the knight's camp, enjoy the fire show and the swordplay, watch the painstaking work of the illuminator and scribe in the Scriptorium or get entertained by minstrels, jugglers and falconers. For nine days the visitors will be taken to an exciting tour to times long gone.
