"This exhibit has been such an interesting and eye-opening experience. Each painting is a word, an affirmation, a feeling that we've lived daily as the painting comes to life. We've come face to face with our EGO, invited DARK energy into our home to give it LIGHT...we've listened with our SOUL and felt and experienced JOY that comes thru each painting with its glyph-coded message. Definitely one of his best collections I've seen him paint." - Irene Castruita "4 years ago while I attended art school, I started visualizing and conceptualizing this body of work ... to create graffiti letters that are characters... then, as I sketched and drew countless designs, a question came up in my mind, "Who are you? Who is CROL? Why does it matter - to be painting your graff name ? " This then became serious research about self...this investigation and observation lasted 4 years...lol I had not painted my graff name since then..it was of major importance for me to understand - me. Now, I will be sharing a total of 12 large scale paintings and 5 mid size that like a Mayan Glyph, I decoded myself... and translated this information onto the paintings.
