I grew around an artist, my mother. She was my greatest influence. I remember her painting in oils when I was young. To date, I have not tried oils, but I will soon. I love almost any type of art supplies. I grew up traveling the the west and east coast moving alot due to my dads military career. I was not fond of it, but appreciate now. Both sides of the states are so different, but unique in their own way. My heart has always loved the southwest. It is my biggest inspiration. I acquired a few degrees in Commercial Art and Graphic Design, Drawing and Photography but have always enjoyed learning. So what better to become than a teacher of the Arts. I have been teaching K-12 Art now close to 20 years. I so love to see the spark of Art in a childs eye. What I get out of the discovery of another creating is the best career ever. Watercolors, Acrylics, Photography and Web design are my main creative outlets at present. If I am not creating, I am in nature trailriding and primitive camping with my two Missouri Foxtrotter horses. Being one with nature is what sparks my creativity!
I so love visiting this site and seeing all the talent all over the world. I just wish every person could experiance how fulfilling it is to create. Keep playing till you find your niche!
Thank you much for the visit, Erin!
