Thank you for you wonderful comments and insights - it's funny how you saw the likeness on " The Lover and "The Wife" the reality is they are the same woman , The dueling lover and wife within the same person . I think many women have encountered these personalities within themselves , I know I can vouch for this myself . I always look forward to your comments ,and of course thank you for the stars ! I am invading your message board , I just got all of your stars and awesome comments thank you ...I got so excited I got an adrenaline rush for a minute .. Whew ..! I wish to be in a gallery someday . I guess I've never really tried , once I grow some cojones ( spelling ? Lower region ) I'll actually submitt my art somewhere ? I don't know where to begin really . Are you in gallery ? Of course you are ( right?)your art is truly amazing . Your collages are very well done ,I never realized how difficult it was to put one together I had a hell of a time w/ the dia de Los metros w/ Frida piece I had these Mexican lottery cards that I used to play when I was a kid and I just realized I can put a sort of story about frida kahlo together , right after I saw the movie with Salma Hayek as frida but , it's one of the most difficult things I've done . It was hard to come together without making it look silly . So kudos to you.. because your collages are very good , you have an eye for it . I'll stop hogging all of your message board , just wanted to say thank you..thank you..thank you ( I sung that last thank you ) oh and BTW congrats on your 50 stars points . Yea ! !
(sorry I hit post without finishing ) I meant especially the intense shading I think this really makes your pieces stand out and unique ,, it also seems to add an edge and darkness to your pieces and gives them emotion . It's nice to actually hear some feed back other than just stars don't get me wrong I love stars and always welcome more and appreciate every single one I get but it is still nice to hear more feed back especially when someone genuinely gets it . I agree we all have some dark qualities some of us just put into paint or other mediums . I personally love things that are a little warped or dark with a little tweaking . My thoughts when I made Eden was she doesn't need Adam she hunts her own food with no regret , and she can seduce or manipulate you into her trap . I love your input and thoughts on not only my pieces but art in general , I am glad to hear you also have a dislike for the classroom type atmosphere where you wait patiently for steps 1,2and 3 . Oh, yeah. I'd definitely trade talent with you. You pull out amazing emotion and mythical meaning out of people with a brush and paint. And I'm not minimizing photography as an art form. It just seems to be a totally different thing. If I could paint what I feel it would be so cathartic. So get those brushes out and paint some more of those wonderful eyes!

Elizabeth,,my wife has a doll room. My scary paintings are in the studio. Many of her dolls were my gifts to her.
I use one of our guest bedroom's for my favorite dolls, so you could say I have a doll room too. My husband isn't into scary stuff, but I totally disagree : He has animal taxidermy hanging on the walls in his ' man cave'.
