Devin Lassey. Just a man who lives behind the camera and within the digital world of Photoshop. The camera revolutionized the way in which we look at humanity - the ultimate tool of the artist and anthropologist in all of us. The use of digital manipulation software has given us the power of complete and utter creative control. It gives us the power to turn the real into the surreal real. Our minds' thoughts and dreams can become images within the realm of reality. What was once dominated by the painters and drawers of the past, can now be realized in the photograph with absolute precision and clarity.

A conduit would be the word. And as one, I capture what is there, and what isn't; bringing you into yourself - if only just for a little bit.

Or maybe I'm just a boy. Still learning his craft, and ever growing. But the same can be said of any artists. All of us, children growing at an alarming rate, yet never reaching adulthood. I say "keep growing, and never think you're done".
