Derek Palmer is a native of Orlando, Florida where he lived until moving to North Florida to complete his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Flagler College. His work has been featured on Utrecht Art Supply’s website as well as MyArtSpace.com. His organic abstract paintings have been featured in group shows at museums and galleries throughout St. Augustine; at The Lora Leathers Gallery, Aviles at the Hilton, The Crisp-Ellert Museum and throughout the campus of Flagler College. His work is part of the permanent collection at the Morton J. May Foundation Gallery at Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. He has also been involved in group exhibitions at the Caelum Gallery in New York City, in Orlando at G4 Studios and in Tampa with Canvas 7.
