I am painting more on bottles and rocks now. It seems like it will last longer that way.

i love your art but honestly you should deffinently try some diffrent styles. your an amazing artist with great potentiel you should deffinently show it.

Posted by craigomanion on March 03, 2010

I appreciate your comments, thank you. My paintings are very much like a signature. I believe this is why they are all so close stylistically. For me, other types of images would be like foregery. My music is the same way. I stay close to what I understand. Although it would be fun to do sculptures they would also probably look like the drawings! Some of us are one-trick ponies I suppose. They do all look similar, but think of it this way. Should you ever see one of my works in another place, you will know it is mine right away. Thanks again, best of luck.

Movement and composition, great! A sculpture would be very good.

Posted by craigomanion on March 03, 2010

If I had the room I would probably translate these that way. I love sculpture.

Oh this is neat work! My eyes went wonky at the first glance and then I realized there were shapes in the confusion. Bravo.

Posted by craigomanion on February 14, 2010

Thanks, sorry about your eyes though. Wonky artists create wonky art.

Posted by morraha on February 14, 2010

LOL. It's ok, my mind is already pretty wonky itself, only a matter of time before my eyes follow. Extra points on the proper use of wonky as well. :)

Posted by craigomanion on February 23, 2010

At least I didn't say Wonkosity.... er, oops

Posted by morraha on February 24, 2010

Oh dear... I'm afraid wonkosity isn't the proper term here at all. It's actually a term related to the workings of Wonka's factory and is in fact properly spelled as Wonkasity.

Is this why I've run out of magical chocolate?? OMG!

Posted by morraha on February 27, 2010

your work is very intriguing! I found myself looking at each one trying to find a picture inside...it's like an inkblot test but with string! :) awesome.

Posted by craigomanion on February 13, 2010

It's like the shrink ran out of ink and had to use an extension cable.lol

Craig,

I like your work also. What's your back round ? What is the book you mention as your favorite? Books are what getting me going for my work.

Posted by craigomanion on February 13, 2010

It is a Swedish book that has never been translated. If someone paid me I would gladly isolate a year in which to do it. It's a very good book about aethetics.

My background is music and this type of visual art. more info at:

Cool! Very unique and interesting work! There is either a whole lot of erasing going on here, or some very careful planning ;) Kind of reminds me of every knitting project I have ever attempted. Thanks for the stars!

Posted by craigomanion on February 13, 2010

I would say there is both. Lot's of the erasing though is in my head. Thanks

Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else`s opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation.I am glad that you are you and I like your art without hesitation.MarHak

Posted by craigomanion on February 13, 2010

Thanks. I am indeed glad to be who I am. Imitation is just too much work!

I feel exactly the same my friend.

Hyggelig og kunne skrive skandinavisk her på canvasen ochså... Liker enkelheten din :O)))

Posted by craigomanion on February 12, 2010

Min andre språk er svensk med dansk som en nær tredje. Noen ganger kan jeg skrive noe enkelt på norsk. Jeg kan lese norsk godt for en amerikaner.Vi er begge fra steder hvor OS har besøkt. Atlanta i 1996. Var du der i 1994?

Posted by biddi on February 17, 2010

Posted by biddi on February 17, 2010

På You tube ligger det nå en video som heter "Destination Lillehammer"

very unique work...your use of line to not only portrays your image very well but succeeds in conveying movement and emotion...I like your work very much....

Thank you, I like your use of colors, something whatever a muse is chose not to give me.
