BLUECANVAS Magazine is holding contests to give artists additional opportunities to be published in our magazine. Just review the information below and follow the instructions carefully. Please contact us at info@bluecanvas.com for any questions regarding the contest.

Contest #4 Theme - BACK IN THE DAY

• For our second contest we want to see your interpretation for the theme "BACK IN THE DAY" in an original art piece of any medium, size, shape, etc. There is no right or wrong interpretation, we just want to see what you come up with.
• The winners will be published in issue #7. (We will choose 4 - 6 winners for each contest).
• Submission window is July 16, 2010 - August 31, 2010.
• Issue #7 is scheduled to be released mid January of 2011.

GUIDELINES:

• Submissions are free.
• Must have a BLUECANVAS account. (It's free to sign up)
• The image being submitted must be available on your BLUECANVAS profile. (Please do not indicate that it is a contest submission on your public profile).
• No more than 3 submissions per person.
• Art work must have a title and a brief description.
• All mediums are welcome. For artwork that needs to be photographed (installations, sculpture, etc.), please make sure that the photographs represent your work well.

HOW TO SUBMIT:

Send each file separately via email to contest@bluecanvas.com. The email subject line should be the theme...in this case "Back in the Day". If you are submitting more than one, please write the number next to the subject line (i.e. "Back in the Day 1" and "Back in the Day 2"). In the email, please indicate the following:

1. BLUECANVAS account name. (i.e. www.bluecanvas.com/joe)
2. Full name (i.e. Joe Schmoe)
3. Title of artwork
4. Description of artwork
5. And the attachment of the artwork

3. Title/Description
