Colleen, thank you so much for the star and comment! That was one of my last 45 paintings I finished for my show in December.
Took a while but I moved to a small town at the bottom of a mountain. I don't miss the big city at all. Keep planning, keep moving forward & eventually you might as well. :)
I would love to return to the peace and tranquility of the mountains. ~ then maybe that's where you oughta be ~ we're not on this earth forever, and your heart probably rules your feet and mind
It probably is where I ought to be, though it would just be a temporary escape. It's a beautiful dream. Thank you David!
2000 ~ eleven years ago I left the hustle and bustle of business and city life and moved to a dream cottage ~ I was there for ten years and although we have now moved on I have no regrets .... it was downsizing life and living in an isolated remote location, but it was our dream and the timing was right and our lives changed
As soon as I get my second child off to college in 2 years that is probably what I am going to do! : )
Thank you so much Colleen for stopping in and checking out my work, commenting, and for the stars! I appreciate it very much! :)
Life is not merely measured by the number of breaths you take in a lifetime, but by the number of times you have your breath taken away
Collen,I find in your gallery to much treasure, but I got to go now,I promise I'll stop by later....and I'll make good that...-_-
Good Morning Texas! (Love the people, love the place! May have to flee there.)
True, however, here in South Florida we have insane hot with mugginess. It's like trying to suck air though a hot, damp sponge.
We don't have the humidity as bad as you have it. Though it does feel like an oven as opposed to a sauna! ; )

What a cool gallery!
