Chris Hodges (born in Hickory, NC, 25 December, 1963) is an American artist.
His work shows both realist and expressionist references. He was self taught and studied art in 1988 at Berry College in Rome, GA. Since 1982, he has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions. He has work in both public and private collections. In 1990, he retired from his art teaching career but continues to teach privately. Hodges continued his education in1997 with a Masters degree from Bank St. College of Education and Parsons School of Art and Design in New York, NY. In 2005 he earned a Doctorate of Fine Art from Belford University. He lives and works in Rome, GA. His work is based on observation and the human form.
