Thank you again, Chris, for the comments and stars. You make me feel good about myself and my work. I aspire to be as good as your are whether I ever become somebody or not. I love art, I love finding beauty in the world and trying to recreate it in my own work. What I see in my head and what I get on the canvas is often two different things but I love the challenge. Wow! Compliments for a Master artist! I bow before you. Could you tell me how you did the Mongolian Master piece?

No bowing! I've hardly scratched the surface of what I want to achieve! How did I do it? Basically, rearranged pieces of photos from the same session, changed bits of the overall design and clothing here and there, then a light transparent underpainting using burnt and raw umbers (getting heavier and darker towards the shadowed areas). Then blocked in the mid-shadows (semi-opaque), then all local colours. Last come the highlights, before leaning into the details working from the background toward the foreground.... (briefly speaking) 'Masterpiece' may be a little extravagant, but kind of you :)
