You should come to Colorado Charlie! It is truely a beautiful place! I do worry though because it is getting built up and some of the most beautiful treasures are being gobbled up by urban sprawl. I guess that's everywhere! If you do come let me know and I'll show you some of my favorite places!
I really am humbled by your comments, many thanks for stars. Hope I have more favorites for you. Truly humbling.
We are lucky to have each other. Thank-You for star and comment. I'm here today looking at some artwork. All of these new pieces are terrific. You make allot of art, along with other jobs. I admire your energy, and wish I could be like you.
Thank you that is quite a compliment and well appreciated. Art is my life. I make time for other stuff but I am always thinking about and creating art with every moment possible. I really appreciate the affirmation. It is well timed. I question myself always. I am constantly trying to get better and never am satisfied. Thank you so much I appreciate you and your work. You have been a great friend and help in my time at bc. I am glad I can offer the same.
Grad school at the Art Institute of Chicago??? WOW...Great school Charlie! Best of Luck with your interview!
Congrats on the "straight A's" Charlie...if your not allergic to lobster, crab and other seafood....it would pay to indulge in as much of the tasty fare as you can afford and/or enjoy!!
I think the best place to look for King is at a Red Sox game. Congrats on the Graduation(?). I STILL have to finish that damn dissertation - like that's gonna happen. Maybe in the next life. Say hi to Stephen for me!
Have most relaxing and wonderful visit to Maine Charlie! Getting my duds/regalia readied for the pomp and circumstance...congrats on your completion!
Thanks Jethro. At the airport now. Can't wait to get away and focus on art for a while. Hopefully find Steven King. Last night I put my cap an gown up and realized I had left some cookies from the dining hall in the bag. Luckily I believe yhr dining hall dips everything in formaldahide so it was fine.
Rock the few short weeks remaining in the semester, Maine is about as far away as you can get from San Diego, journey well my friend.
Thanks Ward. Im not worried about the hw. I could have gone to sd or la and seen my friends but I want to go be by myself for a bit. I have to take sone summer classes to complete my credits and then go to grad school if I get in. So not much time off. I love my friends, though I only have one that graduated high school and college. The rest are doing what they where doing when I left 14 years ago. Its fun for a day or two then I realize how much ive changed and how little they have. The fact I want to go to Maine to take pictures then go to California and hang out with the punk rockers is proof positive ive griwn old quick.
Hi Charlie! Wishing you a fantastic finish and savory moment when the pomp and circumstance comes front and center! I would love to see get a pic of you in your graduation regalia! Won't be long here untill we do the same! All best and keep your courage my friend! This rite of passage will soon come to fruition!!
1 spoonful of cayenne pepper in a cup of boiling water. honey for throat and taste. its great for your circulatory system, lymph system, pretty muchh alll the systems. try it out:))) also, emergen-C or anything with vitamin C. soup with Kale in it, is great.
I agree with your blurb. People around here are amazing, nothing like this place! It's harder to reach reactions on other sites. :D
Whats your favorite Album?
It's a todd up. Lately it's been "Clouds Taste Metallic." Though I have a love for almost everything they have done. I've seen them probably 10 times. Last time they came I saw them play the soft bulletin straight through two nights in a row. Pretty epic. After I hung out with the drummer for a minute and then Wayne came out. He signed a baby's forehead and told the parents that they needed to bring the baby back every year for the rest of his life to get it signed again. He just sat and hung out with us. Super nice person. I saw them back up for Beck. I listen to them so much I'm sick of how much I listen to them. They actually have been around a long time, so I don't know if it's fair to put them in this generation category. The fact they are still relevant is super awesome. I would have to go with Arcade Fire for this current generation. Though best band all around playing shows the Lips, and hat me for saying this but Counting Crows.
I'm speechless Charlie. A rarity I assure you! Thank you so much for the lovely stars and the very insightful and kind words! I am truly honored!
The feeling is mutual you are such a great talent and I appreciate your support more then you no. It was a pleasure to go through your gallery again.
Aloha Charlie, much appreciate your giving homage to real people/citizens/cultural comment and their ironies, pains, sufferings in homelessness, joblessness through your Chi photographic series...E Ho'omaluhia me ka Honua!
Charlie, KUDOS to you my friend. Your "Nowhere to Go" gallery, is poignant and enlightening. What a great thing to do to raise awareness. I am moved by these images and I see no hint of exploitation. Well done
Thank you Ramon. I have been crying or on the verge of tears since yesterday when I took these shots. I am going to do my best to raise awareness in every way possible.

I miss Child's World and FAO. . . .even TRU is not the same. . .
