Bonnie Durham was born on a moving day, in a small lake town in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. She has always enjoyed drawing, painting, anything to express her whimsy vision with medium. She studied painting at Hunter College in New York City.
Her work explores moments of discovery and wonder; innocent epiphanies and the personification of nature that suggest a deeper understanding.
She currently resides in New York City, but is planning on moving to the Moon soon.
