Sneaking in the shadows.

Blind Pas De Deux.

To dance like no one is watching. To love like you have never been hurt. They say these are some of the keys to happiness. But not every key is so easy to turn. Two hearts, so wounded, two pairs of eyes, so accustomed to hiding from sight; to ones such as we even such simple instructions are feats of heroism. But even Hercules was half human when he accomplished his tasks.

If that is true then surely we can surmount these small obstacles that are set before us. Every road traveled, every mountain conquered starts with a single step. That first deep breath to launch us into the headlong race towards our future. All journeys begin with it, and so shall ours.

So take my hand and we’ll wander to the middle of 5th avenue. And closing our eyes tight we shall dance our blind pas de deux, the world unseen, and to us unseeing as we lay one hand on the other and trust.
